Taking as their starting point Aeschylus’s "Oresteia", which tells the story of what took place after the end of the Trojan War, ricci/forte examine the “aftermath”, or rather what happens when everything is dismembered, lost, devastated. But maybe, under the rubble, man can find a more authentic fibre…

Teatro Studio Melato
A new act from the cosmogony created by the two Dioskouri of the Italian stage, as always shot through by the short-circuit between the present and myth. As ricci/forte (shown together) write: «Can the horrors of the Oresteia, setting aside the question of whether we are or are not so distant from the symbols that we carry upon us, deliver us – through the nightmare – a new solid foundation on which to place the hopes for a future? Or will it be the umpteenth hospital ward in which we accept the punishment of mitral bromide in order to follow the continuous path of the utopian democracy that is shown to us?» Aeschylus and ricci/forte, genesis and the hypercontemporary, Artaud and the hard rock of Led Zeppelin, sonorous and physical intertextual superimpositions, all interwoven to create a hallucination, a compass with which to refind pathways.
Duration: One hour and 40 minutes
