Moni Ovadia returns to the Piccolo with the Registro dei peccati (The register of sins), a new journey into Yiddish culture to discover the world of Hasidic Judaism, the cultural tradition of the Jewish diaspora. A universe of words, music, dance, stories, songs and images, in which prayer, storytelling and entertainment mingle.

Moni Ovadia takes the audience on an extraordinary journey in a world, that of the Hasidism, uprooted from the human and spiritual landscape by the brutality of hate, but which continues to speak with an indomitable, colourful and vibrant energy.
Hasidism is the celebration of human fragility and its beauty, in which the mastery of the divine is recognisable, ineffable and invisible – a relationship which is familiar and almost irreverent, but never blasphemous.
