The Piccolo Teatro has organised an event in connection with "Lampedusa Beach" and "Lampedusa Snow", the shows by Lina Prosa at the Piccolo Teatro

Lina Prosa writes: «The play is a passionate plea to the audience to recognise in words such as shipwreck, clandestinity, and emigration not the roots of “evil”, but rather the evidence of a world which is still under construction, in movement, still travelling».
The Piccolo Teatro has organised three events in connection with "Lampedusa Beach" to discuss the play, the "Shipwreck Trilogy", migration and the future of Europe: on Monday 26 October at the Casa della Cultura, on Thursday 29 at 5 pm at the Chiostro Nina Vinchi, and at the Teatro Grassi at the end of the performance.
On Monday 26 October 2015 at 8.30 pm at the Casa della Cultura in via Borgogna, 3 (Milan) is organising an event entitled "Migrations, borders, identities of the people in a changing Europe, in a changing world". Taking part will be Lina Prosa, writer and director of Lampedusa Beach, the leading actress Elisa Lucarelli, the sociologist Maurizio Ambrosini, and Mohamed Ba, writer and cultural mediator. Coordinated by Marta Galli, theatrical organiser.
On Thursday 29 October at 5 pm at the Chiostro Nina Vinchi the discussion will be on Lampedusa Beach and Lampedusa Snow, the second part of the Shipwreck Trilogy which will be staged a the Piccolo from 10 to 15 May 2016 at the Teatro Studio Melato. Together with Lina Prosa will be Jacopo Tondelli, journalist, and Paolo Bonetti and Chiara Tarabotti, professors at the Università degli Studi Milano Bicocca. Coordinated by Anna Piletti.
Also on Thursday 29 October, at the end of the performance, in the auditorium of the Teatro Grassi there will be a meeting entitled "Europe: a past which is yet to come for a humanity already present". Taking part will be Silvia Costa, president of the Culture and Education Commission at the European Parliament, Sergio Escobar, director of the Piccolo, and the writer Lina Prosa.
