An eternal pièce in the history of ballet, the Christmas fairytale par excellence, the Nutcracker, returns by popular demand to the Teatro Strehler. Created by Frédéric Olivieri for the young talents of the Scuola di Ballo Accademia Teatro alla Scala, this choreography represents an important test which enriches the daily academic lives of the pupils.
"The Nutcracker is particularly suitable for our young dancers – says Frédéric Olivieri. – The sequences of the scenes of the first act, the many characters and the dances and the grand pas for two in the second act allow them to express themselves technically and artistically, highlighting all of their potential as future professionals".
