"Shakespeare e Brecht" is the title of the final discussion in the series “Shakespeare Everywhere” organised by Carolyne Patey and Mariacristina Cavecchi in collaboration with the Università degli Studi di Milano. Taking part will be Marco Castellari and Alberto Bentoglio.
Chiostro Nina Vinchi
On the occasion of the four-hundredth anniversary of the death of William Shakespeare, the Piccolo and the Department of Language and Literature at the Università Degli Studi di Milano have organised a series of events entitled Shakespeare Everywhere, by Caroline Patey and Mariacristina Cavecchi, to examine the relationships which exist between the “Immortal Bard” and contemporary dramaturgy.
In the last event at the Chiostro Nina Vinchi, the discussion will focus on Shakespeare and Brecht, fundamental figures of Western theatre. The event will be conducted by Marco Castellari and Alberto Bentoglio.
The series will end on Thursday 5 May with an event at Teatro Strehler (Aula EuroLab) with Caroline Patey and Mariacristina Cavecchi, curators of the project.
