Two fairy tales for younger children directed by Stefano de Luca: a frog and a princess to the rhythmn of jazz, and a Little Red Riding Hood who takes on the forest and her fears in order to grown up.
-
Teatro Strehler - Scatola Magica
Stefano de Luca proposes an original version of the fairy tales by the Brothers Grimm The two very colourful protagonists of the Principe Ranocchio - the frog and the princess - face each other in a playful theatrical challenge to the rhythm of swing and jazz. Each of the two try to bring the audience to their side, stimulating it to experience the different points of view of the story. With the same viewpoint, the director sends Little Red Riding Hood through the forest to the electrifying sound of rock, along an untrodden path which, yes, will lead her to the wolf, but which will also pull the young audience into the myriad shades of the story.
Il Principe Ranocchio was originally created for the Intesa Sanpaolo Pavilion, for Expo Milano 2015 and now, together with Cappuccetto Rosso, it comes back to life on the stage of the Piccolo Teatro.
