More than ever, with the show La espina que quiso ser flor o la flor che quiso ser bailaora, Olga Pericet finds a way to show her deepest-rooted inner self. A personal journey in which the strength of her dance pulls us into the most hidden corners of the soul, among scars filled with kisses and memories. Olga Pericet’s flamenco pulses between opposites, its obscurity relaxes, its beauty is disturbing. Feminine and masculine blend together and consume each other. A gallery of dramatic games in which the woman is always strong and determined in a mix of sculptural images and transformations, with shifts between the beautiful and the ugly, between joy and bitterness, solitude and lasciviousness, youth and decrepitude. The music is a splendid frame for the pure creativity of song, rhythm and flamenco styles.
