Rossana Casale closes the review “Milano per Gaber” with Il Signor G e l’amore, the theme of couples in the songs and works of Gaber... in a jazz key.
Teatro Grassi
When you sing Gaber’s songs for the first time, you realise that you will never be able to stop: after three years during which the actress-singer has visited the most important Italian theatres, Rossana Casale returns to the Piccolo Teatro to end both her long tour and, at the same time, the review “Milano per Gaber 2017”.
Il Signor G e l’amore examines the controversial theme of the couple, marriage, the most hidden of emotions, in a stream of intelligent fun. Casale proposes a number of the most famous songs and monologues in a jazz key, including Quando sarò capace di amare, Il desiderio, Il corpo stupido and Torpedo blu. Accompanying her will be Emiliano Begni (pianoforte), Francesco Consaga (alto sax and soprano sax), Ermanno Dodaro (double bass).
