Gaber and Jannacci are the «starting point, the stages in a progression, the desire to share». Ale&Franz were inspired by the two great artists and the “air of Milan” to create this show which speaks of the courage to experience stories which are not always successful, of the will to express true emotions, to also speak about failure, the delusion of ideals, and deeply felt feelings, like love.

“Gaber, Jannacci, Milano, Us”, where the ‘us’ is Ale & Franz, a prominent comic duo on the Italian scene who have dedicated this show from the series “Milano per Gaber”, organised by the Fondazione Gaber, to Gaber and Jannacci, in memory of the great ‘Mr G.’.
«Gaber and Jannacci are, for us, a starting point, the stages in a progression, the desire to share. They are also the account of a world seen from the point of view of those with the courage to examine the lives of everyone through their own ideas. To talk about pettiness, defeat, fears. They are the spark which shows mankind at the centre of everything. With which to discover our world. A world which is suffered and joyful, colourful and grey, sunny and dark. But always a real world. We bring all of this to the stage: the desire to show how a career as profound as that of Jannacci and Gaber aided and guided the thoughts of so many other artists. We want to recount the fortune to have been able to breathe the same air that Gaber and Jannacci breathed».
