Created by the Shanghai Theatre Academy, the play is a tribute to the extraordinary friendship which bound two 16th century men of science and faith (even if not of the same faith). An ode to understanding between peoples and to respect for one’s fellow man, possible where a love for study and knowledge is sovereign.
