Nicolò Sordo, a young writer from Verona and the winner of the NdN - Network drammaturgia Nuova project, is the writer of I camminatori della patente ubriaca a reflection on the dynamics of families in need, the true story of an imploded “alcoholic” family which is desperately searching for an “angel”.
Teatro Grassi
A family of alcoholics walks in single file in the snow. Pupa, the mother, in front, and her sons, Simon and Teschio, behind her. It is winter in a provincial town. All three of them have had their driving licenses confiscated. They are forced to walk, moving from one bar to the next. A true story about an imploded family on a desperate search for an Angel. The paroxysm which arises as a stylistic standard becomes the key to the piece and the much appreciated dialogues are tinted with ironic cynicism, without renouncing poetic moments, the consistency of which grips the spectator.
