This year Harlequin, servant to two masters returns, an essential and much-loved part of every season at the Piccolo. Harlequin, over the years, has furthermore proved to be a true training ground for actors: from the very beginning, the students from the Piccolo’s School have always joined the Harlequin family, in a traditional passing of the baton with their predecessors. It is an act of absolute love for the theatre which has enraptured countless generations of spectators.
