From the chaos of creation to the universal deluge, metamorphosis, as performed by the San Patrignano Company, tells of the changes necessary in order to evolve, rendering it a theme which is universally topical.

As the youngsters of the San Patrignano Company say: “In looking in the dictionary for the meaning of the word metamorphosis, one finds: The transformation of a being or an object into another of a different nature. Applied to our own lives, it means changing skin, through effort, to become free beings. We are also metamorphosis!”. Inanimate and animate. Absent and present. White and black. False and true. Hate and love. Empty and full. Water and fire. Yesterday and today. Dream and wakefulness. Dissipation and rebirth. Profane and sacred. Rationality and sentiment. Unnatural and natural. Animal and man. Body and mind. Dark and light. Nature and science. Illusion and reality. Interior and exterior. Fathers and sons. 40 nouns containing the concept of Metamorphosis, the foundation for the latest theatrical production by the San Patrignano Artistic Group. 40 are the years that the community will be celebrating in 2018 to recall its foundation in 1978.
