Immersed in the splendid floral creations of Thierry Boutemy, supported by a powerful and evocative score, the new show by Delbono and his extraordinary company of actors/performers is a journey towards the joy of sharing with the audience.

“The ode to joy”, according to Pippo Delbono, is a journey of learning, which changes every evening - just as, every evening, the essential companion, the audience, changes - which moves towards that absolute exaltation, the burning intuition which coincides with a moment of happiness. How does one explain what incommunicable joy is? By examining the suffering, death, folly, and life journey, not only of Pippo but of each and every one of us, interspersed with events that lead us to be that which we are, and which becomes a part of us, such as joy. Just like in a great, vividly-coloured circus, immersed in the living floral compositions by Thierry Boutemy, and in the musical compositions by Pippo Delbono and Antoine Bataille, the actors from the Pippo Delbono Company represent the many stages in a journey towards the most extreme of feelings - anguish, happiness, pain, enthusiasm... - the infinite search for joy.
Duration: one hour and 20 minutes without interval
