by Frank Zappa, the last work by the extraordinary and unique artist who died in 1993.

The “Giorgio Bernasconi” Chamber Ensemble from the Accademia Teatro alla Scala, specialised in 20th century repertoire, performs Music from the Yellow Shark 
, the last musical project by Frank Zappa between 1991 and 1993, the year of his death. A series of legendary concerts in Frankfurt, Berlin and Vienna, conducted by Peter Rundel, which was then to become an equally legendary album. 25 years on, Peter Rundel returns to conduct The Yellow Shark with the young musicians of the Academy, giving them the unique opportunity to encounter one of the musical masterpieces of the late twentieth century.
After Milan, the concert will be at the Parco della Musica Auditorium in Rome – as part of the Romaeuropa Festival 2018, co-produced with the Fondazione Musica per Roma – and at the Teatro Valli in Reggio Emilia for the Aperto Festival.
Duration: one hour and 15 minutes without interval
