A poetic representation of the existential crisis of modern humankind, and an examination of how free we are in the choices we make.
Teatro Grassi
Included as one of the initiatives for the European Year of Cultural Heritage, the 18th edition of Tramedautore – International Festival of Dramaturgy directed by Michele Panella, focuses on a new generation of artists from Italy, France, Spain and Germany, immersed in a period of great fragility and political, social-cultural and individual paradoxes.
In addition to the plays, the Chiostro Nina Vinchi will play host to discussions, performances and concerts.
All In is a journey through different worlds and places: a disco, an English language school, a self-help programme and a warehouse. They are apparently places which have nothing to do with each other, but they all have one element in common; they are spaces in which all of us move not as individuals, but within a group, for which we accept rules of coexistence and of society. The play is therefore a container within which various stimuli mix together and become the context in which the actors move through common spaces, situations and experiences which are recognisable and shared, imposed, accepted and celebrated.
All of the situations explored are the poetic representation of the existential crisis of modern humankind, and we ask ourselves how free we are in the choices we make.
Atresbandes is a theatrical company from Barcelona which was founded in 2008 by Mònica Almirall, Miquel Segovia and Albert Pérez Hidalgo, whose work is influenced by various artistic disciplines. It won First Prize and the Audience’s Award at the BE Festival in Birmingham in 2012 for Solfatara and the award for best directing at the Skena Up Festival (Prishtina, Kosovo) for Locus Amoenus.
