Halfway between an Orwell novel and a film by the Cohen brothers, the play is set in an imaginary future in which the government has made it illegal to produce videos and load them onto the internet. Thus, Aplod is born, a pirate site where even the film of a kitten can earn significant profits.

Included as one of the initiatives for the European Year of Cultural Heritage, the 18th edition of Tramedautore – International Festival of Dramaturgy directed by Michele Panella, focuses on a new generation of artists from Italy, France, Spain and Germany, immersed in a period of great fragility and political, social-cultural and individual paradoxes.
In addition to the plays, the Chiostro Nina Vinchi will play host to discussions, performances and concerts.
Aplod
In a not too distant future, it has become illegal to produce video material and upload it onto the internet. But on the pirate website APLOD, it is still possible to earn large amounts of money by uploading funny videos of kittens. A young man decides to start a criminal organisation for the production of videos to upload to the internet and earn a load of money. A mix between Orwell’s novel and a film by the Cohen brothers, Aplod , with its harsh comedy, uses rhythm as its winning aspect.
Fartagnan Teatro was set up in 2017, founded by four graduates from the Paolo Grassi Civic School of Theatre in Milan, with the dream of creating a new form of Pop Theatre for the 2.0 generation. Aplod (2017), presented at the 2017 IT Festival and winner of the 4th edition of YOUNG DIRECTORS competition in collaboration with MaMiMò, Artistic Residency ILINXARIUM, Associazione K/Manifattura K, Karakorum Teatro, is its first work.

Reservations
Reservations are available exclusively for subscription holders.
Reservations are valid up to one month before the chosen date: for example, if a reservation is made for a show performing on 15 April, the seats must be confirmed by 15 March.
The reservation must be confirmed by the deadline at the Teatro Strehler box office or via the box office line. Unconfirmed reservations will be automatically cancelled.
It is not possible to make reservations less than one month before the chosen performance date.
