In a minimalist set, with the figure of the puppeteer visibly commanding the characters on short strings, the Carlo Colla & Figli Puppetry Company presents a show that brings together a number of scenes from the most loved and applauded plays, as well as a number of previews and surprises.

Chiostro Nina Vinchi
Marionette che passione! is the play that the Carlo Colla & Figli Puppetry Company will be presenting at the Chiostro Nina Vinchi, bringing together in a single special performance situations and moments from the shows that have debuted on the stages of the Piccolo Teatro in Milan to then travel, taking Italian tradition and culture to the most important cities in Europe and the world. It will be an opportunity to meet up again with the characters from the most loved and applauded shows, Excelsior, The Troubadour, The Antiquarian's Family, Macbeth, The Tempest, A midsummer night’s dream, Treasure island and others, as well as a number of previews and surprises.
But what is special about this play is the unusual and minimalist set, adapted for the staging in the Chiostro, with the figure of the puppeteer visibly commanding the characters on short strings. This is an opportunity, following an unusual period of forced inactivity, for the puppets to bring movement and life to the world of the theatre as they wait to return next season in their natural habitat, presenting titles, stories and plays as they have done for the last two hundred years.
Duration: 70 minutes without interval
