With desecrating irony – as well as great tenderness – Bidibibodibiboo tells of the choices and sacrifices, the dreams and fears of a generation tackling a dramatically ruthless world of employment.

Francesco Alberici (Winner of the Ubu 2021 Award as Best actor/performer under 35) paints a vitriolic portrait of the disastrous situation in the contemporary world of employment. Bidibibodibiboo presents the story of a young worker, with an open-ended contract with an important company. He is maybe the target of a superior and begins to live a nightmare, plunging into a persecutory vortex that turns the hours spent at work into a nightmare.
The jury at the 56th edition of the Riccione Theatre Award stressed how, «with efficient and measured composure, the author tells with dry realism and effectiveness, the plunge into the corporate underworld of the protagonist: attacks, shaming, firing, omission and freedom.»
Duration: 105’ without interval
