A one-of-a-kind car, destroyed in a crash, with two actors trapped in the wreckage. A blend of dream and wakefulness, reality and fiction, the theatrical company from Prima returns to the stage with the mysterious play inspired by Battaglia di San Romano; generations of actors come and go, in a blend of past, present and future, and a continuous interweaving of stories great and small.

Teatro Grassi
A one-of-a-kind car driven at top speed, a terrible accident; the second part of the triptych created by Pascal Rambert for the Piccolo begins with a coup de théâtre. The same company of actors who performed in Prima return, together with a new generation of artists.
Rehearsals for a play inspired by Battaglia di San Romano by Paolo Uccello are interwoven with hints of Harlequin and a general reflection on theatre, its rituals and its magic. «This is the first time – explained Rambert – that I have worked on a project organised over multiple seasons, and it has been a wonderful surprise. I like the idea of coming back to work with the same group of actors, because as a whole, they create an extremely vivid configuration of characters with which I feel I can continue to create new combinations of relationship.»
Duration: 113’ without intermission
