In a journey through places and capitals that have characterized or have been the driving force behind new pages and new melodies, the Festival that connects Milan and Turin in the name of music has chosen to dedicate its seventeenth edition to the theme of the city.

The program features five composers, very different from each other, all connected to New York. Dvořák had been called to lead the Conservatory; Gershwin and Glass are true icons of the city; Hemphill was a brilliant saxophonist active in the seventies and nineties; Jacobsen, a member of the quartet, showcases the beauty of the new generations.
