«Our hands may be incapable of harm if you had not forced us to use them exclusively to wield power». In the wake of Paisajes para no colorear (2018), Teatro La Re-Sentida brings to the stage seven adolescents who reflect on what it means to become a man, free from the constraints of a brutal masculinity.

In a world marred by war, racial hatred, discrimination and abuse, above all by men, tenderness becomes a revolutionary act. In La posibilidad de la ternura, a group of seven Chilean youngsters aged between 13 and 17 decide to resist the cultural influence that aims to render them aggressive and authoritarian.
Through a process of collective creation, the youngsters, led by the directors Marco Layera and Carolina de la Maza, build the foundations of their masculinity, learning, for the first time, of dialogue with others and the free expression of affection.
Facing their fears of being insulted, humiliated and marginalised, they try, together, to answer a single question: how can tenderness become a political act?
Duration: 75’ without intermission
