George, a writer of spy novels «that can be picked up in any supermarket», is unable to get over the death of his wife. Jennie, theatrical actress, is dealing with a failed marriage. They are matched up by Leo, George’s older brother, who works as a Broadway press agent, and Faye, Jennie’s best friend and aspiring soap-opera queen.
