Dreamlike and full of poetry, the show by Baro d’evel creates a unique combination of movement, acrobatics, music and words. The result is a visually astounding show that offers a delicate and profound reflection on the present state of the world and of humanity.

With Falaise the French-Catalan company Baro d’evel draws on poetry and humour to overturn the rules of traditional circus, creating a new form of complicity between human beings and animals. Through their dreamlike and poetic performances that interweave and overlay movement, acrobatics, music and words, Camille Decourtye and Blaï Mateu Trias tell of a world on the precipice of an abyss, set on the edge of a cliff, the “falesia” [cliff in Italian, Tn.] of the title.
Through a continuous play of balance and imbalance, the alternating of white and black symbolises the search for purity as well as the reciprocal contamination between the two colours: everything is connected, everything moves, and everything transforms.
A visually astounding spectacle that questions the present state of the world and of humanity.
Recommended for audiences aged 8 and over
Duration: 100’ without intermission
