Alice is a young aspiring writer who finds herself having to face a professional world that seems, to her, inaccessible. She is put off by the hard reality that awaits her. She was not ready for this. However, thanks to the support of her friend and house mate Maya, she finds the strength to not give in. Alice has an interview for a position that will give her a foothold in a publication, allowing her to start making a living and, as Maya suggests, begin forming a network of connections.
Connections that may, perhaps, finally allow Alice to fulfil her greatest dream; publish her book and become an author. However, when the editorial world enters the picture, things become more complicated and less clear. A game of light and shadow begins, in which it is hard to recognise the confines of reality and where it is often easy to “fall into a trap”.
When reality itself is for sale, what is one prepared to do in order to achieve their goal?
NEXT – Workshop for ideas for the production and programming of entertainment in Lombardy is a project promoted by the Lombardy Region – Department of Culture, in collaboration with the Cariplo Foundation and with the organisation of AGIS Lombardia. Its aim is to favour the production and programming of entertainment in Lombardy.
