Based on a true-life situation that happened in Ancona in 2015, Wonder Woman by Antonio Latella tells of the gang rape of a young Peruvian woman. The initial sentence had acquitted the accused, considering the young woman “too masculine”; it was only later that the Court of Appeal overturned the sentence.
