In the year that sees the twentieth anniversary of the death of Signor G. (2003-2023), the programme continues for Milano per Gaber, the annual review of culture and entertainment aimed at furthering knowledge of the artist and his enormous musical and theatrical repertoire. The initiative – organised by the Gaber Foundation with the support of the Municipality of Milan, the Lombardy Region, SIAE and the Cariplo Foundation, with the collaboration of the Piccolo Teatro – is aimed in particular at younger audiences, also thanks to the widespread presence , in Secondary schools in the Milan and Lombardy area of many much-appreciated educational shows.
Milano per Gaber represents the most important moment of cultural examination dedicated to a great figure in late twentieth-century entertainment and culture who, with his theatre song, and with significant support from Paolo Grassi and the Piccolo, created a new theatrical language.
